Meet Our Staff

Maria is our administrative assistant and she is in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays. Maria is responsible in diseminating information to RCO'S, provide sustainable support to the team and also involve on running the day to day office activities. Maria is also working closely with our employment advisor on updating the data base, arrange appointments for clients and contact clients & RCO's on ocassional basis.

Brook is our outreach worker and will be visiting groups to update you on what we're doing and find out what support you would like from SRCF: Some of The areas he covers are:

Involved in making contact with RCO’s and their members on timely basis
Pass information to RCO’s, Members and partner organisations VsV to SRCF
Collecting information on needs of RCO’s
Encourage RCO’s to participate in decision making, attend meetings and participate in events
Act as an intermediary for RCO’s to share information, exchange ideas and awareness of each others activity
Participate in events of the RCO’s organise
Help RCO’s to run their event and assist them on the day of the event

Eltayeb is our community development worker and he will be working with 3-4 groups at a time to provide tailor-made advice and training to help groups achieve what they want to achieve. He also works with new emerging groups to develop their projects and manage effectively. Some of the areas Eltayeb could assisst you with are:

Fundraising for your projects
Advice and guidance on project development
Support on how to present your organisation to policy makers
Help in organising events for your communities etc

Angela is working with us on a student work placement rom January to June 2007. Her focus is on supporting women-led community groups and encouraging exchange between groups.
