Southwark Consultation on the
Mayor's Refugee Integration Strategy for London - 3 August 2007

SRCF Job Fair for young people from refugee backgrounds - 20 July 2007

What is SRCF?
SRCF was established by Refugee Community Organisations in Southwark to enable the voices of refugees themselves to be heard and to develop mutual support between newly arrived and more established communities.

Review of rationale
The local strategic partnership’s original plan was to use Neighbourhood Renewal funding to establish a multi-agency refugee network with representatives from statutory agencies and RCOs.

However, local refugee leaders wanted more than to attend a gathering of agencies to discuss their needs and successfully argued the case for: A forum run by refugees for refugees
